2017 update!

Well it's been a while since i have had the time to post here but that's good news for collectors as it means i have been busy producing new products to add to my growing list.
So far this year i have been able to complete my version of the masks from the film 'You're Next' and also start work on a new project 'Annabelle' a full size version of the doll from the film with the same name.
I have some new projects to start after Annabelle is complete that should please fans of the Conjuring series!
I will try to be more active on the blog but please bare in mind if i'm not on here i'm probably in the workshop but you're always welcome to email me with any questions you may have regarding my work.
Regards Darren.

Great to see this old antique again! Original Part 4 hockey mask.

Some pictures surfaced recently of the original part 4 final chapter hockey mask being handed over to it's new owner from Dick Warlock. The mask looks to be in great shape for it's age, remember this was one of the masks used in part 3 dating from 1982.

In the picture below you can see the part 4 mask was used in part 3, notice the left (as you look at the mask) eye shape.

It was also the same mask used for the final scenes in part 3.

A closer look at the mask. The new owner has hinted at some better detailed pictures, so lets all keep our fingers crossed!

I'm Back!

First off i would like to say welcome to my new home!
Most of you will have known me for many years but for those new to my name let me introduce myself...My name is Darren Laken and i am an independent artist based in the UK just outside of London. I have been making prop replicas for well over 10 years now. I am proud to say i am probably best known for my replica hockey mask work over the years. I decided that after being affiliated with other sites and having a successful website and forum of my own in the past it was time for me to move with the times and start my own Blog to showcase my work and also share information and opinions on everything related to what i do.
Over the next few months i will be updating the Blog with my latest projects that should please fans of the Friday the 13th series and other iconic horror movies. So please sign up and follow and you will receive updates as i add to Blog.
Great to see you here and please feel free to share your opinions with me, all the best, Darren.
