Hockey Mask Sculpture Enlarged Made in China Mask

Earlier this year i started work on project which was based on enlarging a 'made in china' mask to closer match the part 3 hockey mask. After a successful test i decided it would not be too difficult to make another sculpture incorporating more of the detail from the original mask and correcting the symmetrical hole placement on the made in china mask, this sculpture would be done completely by hand. I plan to have this project complete for early 2013 and will be making commissions available. Below are some very early pictures of the sculpture, mold and test mask.

This is the picture that gives me real hope of achieving a realistic part 3 size mask. This is a picture of a fright stuff mask next to one of my test pulls. The fright stuff mask which is a great reproduction of the original mask lacks the size of the screen seen part 3 mask. My test pull shows real promise.

I am at the moment in the stages of sculpting a finer detailed mold. One thing i learnt during the vac forming process is that while still using .040 plastic i need to exaggerate the details on the master mold for them to transfer on to a pull. This is test mold and masks were a success to me personally showing it is possible to make a mold a vac forming table and produce my own mask...but i want this to look as good as possible so will go back to the drawing board and get the vent hole placement, eye shape and fine details added to hopefully achieve my aim of a realistic part 3 mask.
